Cabbage Curry

Ingredients


  • 1 small cabbage chopped into small pieces

  • 1 tblspn grated ginger

  • 1-2 green chillies

  • 1 tblspn coconut

  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric


  • For thaduka

  • Curry leaves, 1/4 teaspoon of Mustard seeds, urad dhal, Hing


Method

  1. Heat oil in a heavy saute pan, add the mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add the urad dhal and hing powder. Fry till they turn brown. Add curry leaves and fry till they turn crispy.

  2. Add cabbage to the pan. Turn the stove to medium heat and let it boil till it becomes tender.

  3. Coarsly grind the ginger, chillies and coconut

  4. Add the ground mixture to the cabbage. Mix it well and cook for 2 minutes



Serve with hot rice.
